Korea Human Resources Institute for Health and Welfare Achieves “Best” Grade in Public Data Quality Certification Two Years in a Row

The Korea Human Resources Institute for Health and Welfare (Acting President Bae Nam-young, hereafter the Institute) announced on the 23rd that it has been selected as a “Best” grade institution in the Public Data Quality Certification conducted by the Ministry of the Interior and Safety for administrative and public institutions, for two consecutive years.
The Public Data Quality Certification system reviews the quality and management framework of public data generated, acquired, and managed by public institutions, awarding certification to outstanding bodies. It evaluates 18 detailed indicators across three areas—data management system, data values, and openness and utilization—and assigns “Best” (97 points or above) and “Excellent” (90 points or above) grades.
Since the certification system’s introduction in 2023, the Institute has continuously participated, securing certification for three consecutive years. Notably, since 2024, it has scored 97 or above across all areas for its entire database, achieving the “Best” grade for two years running.
Acting President Bae Nam-young said, “Achieving the ‘Best’ grade two years in a row is a remarkable feat made possible through active communication between all institute members and our key stakeholders—health and welfare professionals—as we prepare for the AI-driven transformation era. Moving forward, we will continue to strengthen public data quality management and aim to lead in providing standard public data essential for public service operations in the AI era.”
